Flower arranging workshops - Cumbria

If you love flowers and plants or just want a lovely relaxing day out, then why not book one of our workshop days?

The response to our Christmas workshops was brilliant. The feedback was wonderful especially on how long the flowers lasted. Our love of flowers and plants has really inspired us to try and create something for everyone this spring.

Everything included!

Each day is very relaxed, very informal and very rewarding; we are confident you will enjoy yourself.

We have varying levels of ability from many complete beginners to some with more experience. As we only take small groups it is easy to come on your own, or how about bring someone for a birthday treat. We can also tailor-make a class just for you and your friends.

All equipment, flowers, foliage and lunch are included, basically everything, all you need do is turn up!

We have made some lovely friends through the workshops and we hope you would enjoy them as much as we do.

  • courses can be tailored to your requirements and style
  • if travelling from afar, accommodation can be arranged if needed
  • how about making a short break and take in some sightseeing or walking?

Typical programme

  • the day starts very informally from 10.15am with coffee/tea and cake
  • the workshop commences at 10.30am
  • Sue or Wendy, our qualified tutors, will either demonstrate or work with you as we start creating
  • after more coffee and the final touches are done, we break for light lunch at the George Hotel
  • extra time is available after lunch if needed to finish work or to ask for further advice
